Just curious, with the latest version of LWJGL released, I noticed that Ogg Vorbis still isn't in OpenAL. Does anyone know the status on this (meaning OpenAL's status, not LWJGLs)?

last time I hear, it was a halfbaked attempt from Creative to add it - but it never got any further than beta on win32.

Ok, thanks. With that in mind then, I think I'm going to go ahead and integrate Jorbis into my sound engine (shouldn't be too hard, as I've already used it for the backrgound music).

On the extension section is a vorbis extension mentioned, but don't know how to obtain that extension.
